"Yarkand Girl", watercolor, 16" x 20", Second Prize, Portrait Category, Mid Valley Arts League 2006
Linda and her prizewinning watercolor portrait "Yarkand Girl".

Linda Fullmer is a juried member of Watercolor West and a member of the Mid-Valley Arts League, where her paintings have won several "Honorable Mentions", "Second Place in Portraits", and a "President's Award" in Annual Member Shows. Her work has been juried into shows in the Bay Area as well as Southern California. For the past eight years she has exhibited annually at Alhambra City Hall. Her watercolors are in private collections on the West Coast and Hawaii, as well as the United Kingdom.

A high school scholarship to life-drawing classes at Art Center School of Design set Fullmer on the path to commercial art studies at Woodbury College and a B.A. in Art from California State University, Los Angeles. Fullmer has refined her artistic talents with instruction from watercolor masters including, among others, Robert Uecker and Fealing Lin.
